Our Vision

At the International Schools of Egypt (ISE), our vision is to inspire every pupil to achieve exceptional academic success while cultivating the motivation, skills, and determination to make a meaningful impact on the world. We strive to be an outstanding British and French international school, recognised for our innovation, forward-thinking approach, and aspirational standards.

Through a rigorous and engaging curriculum, we foster critical and principled thinking in a supportive and positive learning environment. At the International Schools of Egypt (ISE), everything we do is guided by our commitment to the ASPIRE values, which shape our teaching, learning, and community life. These values underpin our vision of providing a world-class British and French education in Egypt, preparing students to thrive academically, socially, and personally.

We believe that pupils who are confident, resilient, and equipped with a growth mindset are more likely to excel and persevere when faced with challenges. By setting clear goals, managing stress effectively, and understanding the importance of mental health, our students develop the tools they need to succeed both in school and beyond.

Our approach is to explicitly teach and model ethical decision-making, empowering students to think critically, act responsibly, and reflect on the consequences of their choices. The ASPIRE values are not confined to a single subject or lesson—they are woven into our school culture, shaping our classrooms, activities, and interactions every day.

ASPIRE stands for

Achievement
We want our pupils to develop high aspirations and set themselves challenging goals. We feel it is important to instil the confidence and determination to achieve these goals. We teach the importance of resilience and determination.
Self-awareness
We encourage our pupils to know themselves better; both their strengths and weaknesses in order to identify where they should celebrate success and where they need to strive to develop further.
Pride
We encourage our children to develop a sense of pride in themselves. This means being punctual, attending school every day, taking pride in their uniform and appearance, presenting their work to high standards and have pride in their behaviour.
Inclusion
We aim to help children understand that everyone has the right and the capacity to achieve no matter the challenges they may face. This is the belief that every child can succeed. We want our pupils to support and encourage each other.
Respect
We want our pupils to understand that respect is not just shown to other people but also to themselves, the wider community and our environment. It is about being polite and courteous but also about developing moral principles and sticking to them.
